About Vallenduuk Lawyers

Vallenduuk Advocaten is established in Haarlem, The Netherlands. The office specializes in all problems related to international roadtransport. The founder of the office has a long history and experience in the road haulage-industry. Han Vallenduuk obtained his master's degree in 1972 to join the Ministry of Transport in the Hague. He was involved in the European harmonization of road transport law at expert-meetings in Brussels. From 1980 he was with the Royal Dutch Association of Road Transport Enterprises, where he left as head of the division of Legal and Social Affairs in 1992.

That year he started his own legal consulting office soon to become a lawfirm. In the year 2000 he helped with the flagging out of some 30 UK road-transport firms. Since than Han Vallenduuk and his colleague Patrick Bobeck services many UK haulers established in Britain and Holland. At the office seven solicitors deal with legal problems in road transport. 

 

 

Our legal services

The office deals especially with problems in road haulage, trucking, coach,  public transport and taxis.

Road transport firms from within the European Community can put their questions forward on typical transport related legal issues, such as: Driver's hours Regulation (EEC) 3820/85 and Tachygraph-law, Dutch licensing, CMR, labor cost, hiring cross border personnel and vehicles.

We are trained to take care of your legal claims in Dutch courts relating to damage, delay and loss of cargo and also debt-collecting.

Flagging out! We will establish and license your transport firm or affiliate in Holland. However support will only be given when one chooses to have a fully dressed-up transport-company.

We handle your problems with Dutch traffic inspectorate and possible impounding of vehicles or return of seized vehicles.

We can  bargain for company collective agreements with unions to retain specific concern labor conditions and thus escape national binding agreements with Dutch traditional unions. (in any field of the industry).

We give unique legal advice on public and civil conditions for drivers employed from abroad (EEC and non-EEC countries).

We know our way in the required levels of skill for the EC certificate of professional competence, for employers and drivers according to Dutch and/or EEC law.

We help out on public tenders in public passengers transport.
